How To Optimize Your Google Content Network Campaigns

{ Posted on 2:03 AM by Mack }
Buzz It
As you know there are 2 types of campaigns that can be created on google: search network and content network. If you choose search network, your adds will be displayed on the google search engine, while on the content network, they will be displayed on the websites you want. There are ways to optimize
your content network campaigns to get more targeted clicks.

Once you have created a content network campaign, go to the tab "Network" and then click on "Try the placement tool". Once inside you will see 4 options. I will focus on 2 of them, since they are the most important ones.

Describe topics

This is where you put your main keyword. Then google will filter all the websites according to that keyword. At the beginning you can add all the websites google presents to you. You can start discarding websites when you see that those are not producing the results you want.

Demographics

This is where you can choose sex and age. This alone can get you a lot of targeted clicks. If you are starting, than you don´t have much money to spend, so targeted clicks are even more important to you. You don´t have money to waste. First example: You are promoting a weight loss product. There are a lot more females trying to loose weight than males. This means you can choose only females, and you will get more targeted clicks. But wait! There is more. If you think this is as far as you could optimize this campaign, there you are wrong. Now imagine, which people would want to loose weight. 60+ old Ladies? I don´t think so. For this example, a good age range would be 18-45. Doing this your clicks will be highly targeted.

Moving to another example: you are promoting a "Build Six Pack Abs" product. In this case, there are a lot more males interested in this. So, in order to get more targeted clicks you could choose only them. Again lets go through the appropriate age range. It would be about the same as the previous example 18-45.

But What Are Targeted Clicks?

If you are on internet marketing for a while, then this is something that you already probably know. If so, you can ignore this paragraph. There are 2 kind of people that can click on your add: random people, and people that are already interested on what you are offering. This second type of people are more likely to buy your product. So it is your job to find them, so that you spend less money in clicks and get more sales.

2 Common Mistake to Avoid When Creating a Google Adwords Campaign

{ Posted on 1:59 AM by Mack }
Buzz It
Google Adwords is where you can create campaigns to promote something on the google search network or on the google content network. For this article we will talk about the search network, since is the most common on, and where most people fail.

To explain you better, lets suppose you are promoting 2 products health related. One is about fitness and the other one about weight loss. Below you will see where most people fail.

Create a Doorway Page

Google does not like people that put affiliate links on their adds. So, you probably asking yourself "Why should i care?". The answer is simple, affiliate links on adds will reduce your quality score. With less quality score you will pay more per click than you should. You don´t want that.

But, What Is a DoorWay Page?

For this example, if you were promoting a weigh loss product, a good doorway page would be to create a simple page on the internet with a review about the product. At that page you put something like this "Click Here To Visit (Your Product Name)". That link will be you affiliate link. So they click there and if they buy, you get the commission.

Organize Keywords

If you are new to this, then you will do like i did when i started. Going back again to our examples: fitness and weight loss products. What you will probably do, is get keywords for those 2 products ( Google Keyword Tool can help you with that ) and mix them in one campaign. Don´t make the same mistake i did. Again, your quality score will decrease and you will pay more per click than you should. Google like targeted campaigns. So what you have to do, is create 2 campaigns. One for the weight loss product and the other for the fitness product.

PPC Search Engines – Your Key To Increasing Sales!

{ Posted on 5:23 PM by Mack }
Buzz It
In any business, online or off line, the key to success is increasing sales. Without increasing sales your business will die, no question about it. But, how is the best way to do this? In my opinion, PPC search engines are the best and quickest way to get the word out about your product. There is no other method that I know of that allows your business or product to be seen to an audience of millions in one hour or less. Let me compare a few methods . . .

Article Writing vs. PPC Search Engines – These two methods are equally effective but at different time scales.

The article writing technique is the best long term FREE technique I know of to get the word out. However, if you don’t have weeks to wait for your article to show then this is not an option for you. So, your decision about writing articles or using ppc search engines to promote your wares should be made based on how quickly you need to get your message out.

Forum Postings vs. PPC Search Engines – Another great FREE way to get the world out is through forum postings. This does however take a little work and it will take a week or more for your message to get indexed. But, if long term advertising methods and FREE are your desired path to success then this is a great method for you. However, you must be patient and you can’t expect your website to show within 24 hours like you can with ppc search engines traffic.

Solo Advertising vs. PPC Search Engines – This final method is a paid method, just like ppc search engines but the difference is that you are sending your ad (i.e. email) to a specific audience that has already shown a desire to get products like yours. So, your audience will never be more targeted. However, most good ezines take anywhere from one week to one month to get your solo advertising email out. And, while it can be VERY effective it will never be quicker than using ppc search engines to get the word out. I would recommend that you actually use both of these types of strategies as part of your plan.

In conclusion, I hope you see that PPC Search Engines can be a great way to get your message to a targeted audience. However, it should be one part of your overall marketing plan. Done correctly you can drive traffic instantly with PPC search engines and build traffic organically through some of the free methods above. Give them all a try and keep at it until you see the results you desire. Good luck!

How To Get A Google Adwords Promotional Code?

{ Posted on 7:48 PM by Mack }
Buzz It
Google often provides a Google Adwords promotional code through web hosting companies, banks or other entities who frequently deal with online businesses.

These codes offer credits to businesses when they sign up for the service. You can get a Google Adwords promotional code from other places, particularly online vendors who partner with Google. GoDaddy and BlueHost are two vendors who offer the promotions, and sometimes they are available directly from Google itself.

Naturally, Google is anxious for you to try out their program, and most businesses these days are trying to save money wherever possible, so the Google Adwords promotional codes work well all around.

In order to get your code to work, you´ll need to set up an Adwords account. If you already have an account, you probably can´t use the code, since they are generally meant only for brand new accounts.

- Browse over to the Adwords homepage at
- Click on the button that says, ´Start Now´
- Create an Adwords account by following the steps in the sign up wizard.
- After you have an account established, sign in.
- Click on the tab labeled ´My Account´.
- Click on the button labeled ´Billing Preferences´.
- When asked for billing information to activate your account, you´ll get to the third step. There you´ll find the field where you can enter the 12 digit promotional code. If you received a URL with the code, then go to the URL first, and you can leave the code field blank. Your promotional credit is applied to the account automatically.
- Click on the button labeled ´Continue´, and you´ll be prompted to enter the rest of your billing information.
- Clicking on ´Activate´ will complete the setup process.

There are some caveats to remember when using a Google Adwords promotional code. First, they are meant for new advertisers only. They´re only good for 14 days after creating the account, or until the credit is exhausted, whichever comes first.

If the promotional credit runs out, you will start being charged for the campaigns you´ve set up. (That´s why they still want your complete billing information, of course.)

If you´re not prepared to pay, or you don´t think it´s working out for the time being, go into your account and click on the ´Pause´ feature for your campaigns.

Naturally, you can´t combine a Google Adwords promotional code with another promotional code or any other offer from Google. As it says in the fine print, ´limit one per customer´.
The code is usually only valid for two weeks after you create the Adwords account, so be sure to get started right away with your campaign.

It´s a good idea to check with Google if there is a service or other online company that is offering you a Google Adwords promotional code in exchange for signing up with their service. Be sure Google has a relationship with them before you grab that offer.

If you get a code out of the blue from a company you´ve never worked with, be skeptical - the code may not be valid.

Adwords Cost How To Guide

{ Posted on 7:45 PM by Mack }
Buzz It
According to Google, Adwords cost is as much or as little as you would like to spend. In reality, it may not work out that neatly to get the results you are hoping to get, but there is a wide variety in spending options.

The basic costs are a $5.00 activation fee (US dollars) and the minimum cost per click (CPC) on your ad, which is $.01. The minimum cost per thousand impressions, or thousand times your webpage is loaded by a user (CPM) is $.25.

Google offers two options for payment. One is to prepay a certain amount, set up your campaign, then let it go until you have reached the end of the money. In this way you know your Adwords cost before you begin, and can control it easily. The minimum amount for a prepayment is $10.

If you are less concerned with the budget, you can opt for the post-pay method to pay your Adwords cost. With this method, your campaign runs, then at the end of the billing cycle, you are charged the amount that has accrued.

For either type of payment, you´ll need to enter an appropriate credit or debit card or bank account information to activate the account. Google only accepts U.S. bank accounts for bank transfers.

They accept American Express, JCB, Mastercard, and Visa credit cards, and any debit cards with a Mastercard or Visa card logo on them.

Fees per click or per impression can go much higher than the minimum. Google gives you tools to control that aspect of the Adwords cost by allowing you to set either limits on the amount you´re willing to spend each day, or a limit on how much you´re willing to pay per click or per thousand impressions, or both.

It´s possible to project Adwords cost by using the Google keyword tool and get a general idea of how much things will cost.

You can see if you will be able to get the results you´re hoping for with the amount you´re willing to spend, and if not, can find out what you need to spend.

It is easy to predict the amount you´ll spend each day, since you can post a maximum budget for daily spending after establishing the framework for costs.
After that, you´ll want to evaluate your keywords, adjust text, look at ad placements, and generally tweak your campaign in order to make the most of the program.

Using tools can add to your Adwords cost if you choose to utilize third party tools, but some of those may pay off for you by increasing revenue.

You´ll need to know enough about how your campaign is going and what it needs to improve so that you can evaluate what tools will best help you have a successful experience with your Adwords campaign.

Keeping a careful watch on your search parameters and keywords, controlling the amount you´re willing to pay and setting a daily budget can help you keep your Adwords cost under control.

6 Powerful Google Adwords Tips Just For You

{ Posted on 7:41 PM by Mack }
Buzz It
While Adwords seems to be the only game in town for PPC marketing these days, it is just as easy to lose with Adwords as it is to win. Here are some basic Google Adwords tips you´ll want to follow as you venture out into the world of Adwords.

1. Avoid Broad Matching to begin with. Broad matching means that if you list a keyword like soda pop in your list of keywords, then your ad could appear any time a user searches for either soda or for pop as well as for soda pop.

2. The next of the Google Adwords tips is to make use of the Dynamic Titles option. These are easy to do, don´t add any cost to your ads, and are generally effective at gaining clicks and conversion. The exact phrase entered by the individual who initiated the search will be used as the title of your ad.

In order to utilize this feature, simply put {keyword:your backup title here}. This also saves you the trouble of coming up with a new title for each ad.

3. Use some global negatives to narrow searches. For example, use ´Free´ as a negative search word if you have a product to sell, not give away. It seems a bit obvious, but if you do some sample searches, you´ll discover that it´s a real problem.

You can do this for other words that you don´t want to waste an ad on. If you are trying broad matching, then you´ll definitely want a long list of negative keywords.

4. Avoid using the "content targeting" and "search network" features until you are well acquainted with Google. If you don´t know anything about a site, you probably won´t profit from it. Each varies widely on conversion rates and CTRs. If you ask for Google Adwords tips, you will often hear the advice to avoid advanced features at first.

5. Don´t rely on the default positioning for ads. You want to try different positions for your ads and different keywords for different locations. You need to know where your ads work the best.

The only way to find out is to test the ads in different positions. Think about your return on investment needs (ROI) and test each ad to see in what position it is most effective.

You can also run tests with different ads. Rewrite your copy several times and see which version brings in not just the most clicks, but the highest ROI.

6. Perhaps the most useful of the Google Adwords tips here is to optimize the landing page for each keyword term. If you´re selling photographs, you should have a different landing page for ´flowers´ and another for ´landscapes´ while still another for ´portraits,´

You don´t want to use your home page for the landing page for each search term unless it specifically deals with what you´re selling.

If you follow these Google Adwords tips, you´re likely to have more success with your Adwords campaign.

Pay Per Click- Promote your site with a Click

{ Posted on 8:14 PM by Mack }
Buzz It
Pay Per Click (also known as Pay Per Ranking, Pay Per Placement, Pay Per Position or Cost Per Click) is an internet advertising technique that allows a company to list their site at the top of search engine results by advertising on keywords that best describe their product or service. Payments are made only for the times when a searcher clicks on the listing and connects to the company’s site. You don’t pay to list, you only pay for clicks. An account with a PPC search engine is the best way to drive targeted traffic to your site. It allows utmost exposure, while controlling the amount spent on the marketing campaign.

PPC or pay per click is a service wherein an advertiser selects precise keywords or phrases and then creates a listing that will show up when someone searches for that phrase. The advertiser decides the amount he is ready to spend on each click for their listing which results in a visit to their site - thus the term “pay per click”. Normally, Content sites charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system. But when other advertisers have opted for the same keyword or phrase, whoever is willing to spend the most shows up first and the others following in order. It’s a competitive marketplace - the higher you bid, the higher your advertisement will be displayed in the list.

PPC implements an affiliate model, that is, it provides purchase opportunities wherever people may be surfing. This is done by offering financial incentives (in the form of a percentage of revenue) to affiliated partner sites. The affiliates provide purchase-point click-through to the merchant. It is a pay-for-performance model — if an affiliate does not generate sales, it represents no cost to the merchant. The affiliate model is well-suited to the web, which explains its popularity. PPC has thus allowed one to instantly “pay” their way to the top whereas traditional SEO takes a lot of time and effort.

The world of Pay Per Click turned into a multi-billion dollar industry. PPC providers have become more sophisticated, providing enhanced account features that enable you to select which countries you want your ads displayed in and in what language.

How To Become An Expert In Online Advertising

If you've delayed learning about the myriads of ways you can earn money in advertising online, now's the time to jump in. While the economy may be soft, this gives companies more of an incentive to advertise online a bit more. The traditional avenues of advertising like television, newspapers, and magazines are struggling with fewer viewers, subscribers, and buyers. However, free sources of entertainment and media like the Internet and radio are bound to gain in audience during the recession. So, while companies are advertising more in this media, there should be a greater opportunity to make money in advertising online.

Fine-Tune Your Advertising Strategy

Just as your competitors gear up big campaigns online, you also need to check out what strategies are going to work best for you. You can hire copywriters to beef up your sales pages or provide the right psychological triggers for buyers who are scared to spend right now. Then you want to see if there are places you can monetize your websites with other people's advertisements to bring in some income. Make sure that any advertising copy that you provide to your affiliate partners for your own affiliate program comes with the training that tells them how to make the most effective use of it. In a recession, the competition can be fierce for the consumer's dollars and advertising is going to give you an edge.Keep Up With The Jones'

Except here, the Jones' are really your competitors. Sign up to some of their affiliate programs or newsletters. Make sure you are aware of what promotions your competitors are promoting and how they are using their advertising to squeeze the dollar out of their subscriber's pocketbooks. Try to learn from what your competitors do and then raise the bar by being even more innovative and creative.

The Nitty-Gritty Details

It may not be fun or glamorous, but understanding the difference between pay-per-click, pay-per-lead, and pay-per-sale and how much of each you want to implement is important for optimizing your advertising revenues. You may even want to check out cost-per-action networks to see if they provide more money than the traditional product-oriented models. You can expect the area of advertising to become even more creative as marketers attempt to provide flexible and innovative options in a tough economy and you want to be in the front lines of that action.

How to Drive an Unstoppable Flood of Traffic to Any Website For $0.01 Per Visitor

{ Posted on 7:29 PM by Mack }
Buzz It

Generating laser-targeted traffic is a difficult task faced by millions of internet markers, bloggers and social marketers. Many internet businesses have failed woefully due to their inability to attract quality traffic.

As an internet marketer, I have been trying my best to attract quality traffic to my websites but have not been successful, not until I decided to stop all my marketing campaigns and test top marketing/promotional techniques that are available on the internet. Here are my findings:

That Pay Per View banner advertising is a cheap and easy way to attract quality traffic to a website. The fact remains that visuals attract than mere words. When one is surfing the net and sees a banner which demonstrates a man coming from the bank with money in his hands, curiosity will make him/her to click the banner.

In my latest research carried out on Facebook Pay Per View advertising program, I paid $0.08 for 1,000 impressions at the cost of $2 per day. Two dollars ($2) will fetch me 25,000 impressions. By the time I had spent $11, I had enjoyed more than 800,000 impressions and 1,672 clicks.

By the figure given above, for what I have spent only $11 for, I would spend $0.05 X 1672 = $83.6 if I opted for PPC.

From my perspective, there are instances when banner pay per view form of online advertising is effective. It is effective when you are targeting a niche and are sure that the adverts will appear only when such people are available e.g. advert targeting a country or language.

Discovering AdSense Keyword Demand

{ Posted on 6:31 AM by Mack }
Buzz It

So you have a fantastic idea for an AdSense site but not too sure how to measure its worth. In your opinion it is a good AdSense niche topic but you want to find out how popular it really is. How do you go about researching keyword demand for AdSense topics?

Assessing keyword demand is an essential initial step in the process of planning an AdSense website. It gives you the knowledge required to optimize your website for the search engines and fine tunes your website for the keywords required to draw in the best AdSense ads. You can, if you want, forgo researching keyword demand, but you’ll inevitably have to pay the price at a later date, possibly through a potential loss of AdSense earnings.

Keyword demand tells you how popular a particular keyword is with potential visitors to your website. It gives you an indication of how many search queries were requested using specific keyword combination's and it gives you an idea of the types of words related to your chosen AdSense theme. You need this kind of information to optimize your AdSense website for ultimate success.

So how do you determine keyword demand?

The simplest way to determine keyword demand is by using a keyword discovery tool. There are many keyword discovery tools available for free on the internet, but one of the best is the one provided by Google themselves. It is very simple to access (just type in ‘Adwords keyword tool’ into Google’s search engine and click on the first organic result). Unfortunately, the tool requires that you fill in a CAPTCHA input field every time you use it but its usefulness easily overcomes this slight inconvenience.

To use the tool all you have to do is type the keyword(s) into the designated area and click on ‘Get keyword ideas’. The results are normally given as a list of related words that are displayed on the left side of the screen with the corresponding data reflecting the number of times they were used in search queries to their right.

The information given is not exact, but it is one of the best approximations regarding types and numbers of query requests in search engines.

Researching keyword demand is a useful step in investigating the value of keywords. But to find out the true value, further investigation is required into how popular the keyword is already on the web and a means of comparing keyword demand with keyword supply (or keyword competition).

The whole process can be quite exhaustive, but in the end what you get is the Keyword Potential Index (KPI) of each word under investigation, which is a simple numerical value that gives you an indication of the true potential of a particular keyword.

It is worth your while to investigate thoroughly the usefulness of your chosen AdSense themes by researching keyword demand because it is only through doing some research can you really determine if your ‘fantastic idea’ has any true AdSense earning potential.

How to find AdSense Niche Topics

{ Posted on 6:28 AM by Mack }
Buzz It
Good AdSense niche topics are like goldmines. They are often poorly covered areas of interest that has little to no competition from other publishers. They often have good levels of demand (interested visitors) and a good number of high paying related ads. Basically a good AdSense niche is one that has:

High Cost Per Click

High Traffic

Low Competition

Of course no niche topic is ideal, only rarely, do all the above factors coincide to create an AdSense niche topic. There are other more realistic combinations of factors that can make good AdSense niches for example:

Low Cost Per Click

High Traffic

Low Competition

Basically, the common factor in all possible combinations is low competition. This ensures that you control a large portion of the traffic affiliated with the topic in question.

There are a number of different ways to discover AdSense niche topics. Some people prefer to tackle it from the profit angle, focusing on finding AdSense niche topics within high paying AdSense keywords. But this technique is fraught with difficulties, not least the problem of trying to create an AdSense website on a topic you’re probably not familiar with.

A good AdSense niche topic has to be of interest to you. How can it be a ‘good’ topic if you can’t turn it into a success? The best way to find a good AdSense topic is to discover one, so at least you know it’s one that is ‘good’ for you.

To make success of an AdSense website you have to be passionate about the subject matter. So the first step towards finding one that is ideal for you, is to brainstorm and write down all the topics that interest you. In this step don’t hold back, you have to try and put down everything, no matter how silly. Write down the things that you do everyday that interests you, that could also interest someone else. Things that you like reading about, hobbies, things you do at home and possibly things you do at work. Try and write down a list of least twenty different topics.

From this list review each topic and ask yourself a number of important questions;

1. How passionate am I about this topic?
2. Would other people be interested in this topic?
3. Would this topic work well as a website or a blog?
4. Has this topic got longevity?
5. What would I need to make this topic interesting to a prospective visitor to my site and can I deliver what is required?
6. But most importantly, what topic do I have the most understanding of and the greatest interest in?

Passion, understanding and interest in the topic helps make the work flow easier for you. Building the website becomes less of a burden if you have a deep interest in the subject matter.

From the list try and whittle down your options to only 5 topics. This list is now probably comprised mostly of general website themes which are not yet specific AdSense topics. To convert these themes into possible AdSense niche topics, you need to do some basic keyword research. For this you are going to need a keyword discovery tool. One of the best is the one provided by Google in its Adwords section. It is free to use but requires constant entry of CAPTCHA text to use if you haven’t signed up for Google Adwords.

When through to the tool enter your topic into the entry field and click on ‘get keyword ideas.’ A list of related terms is then generated which could be possible AdSense niches. But some could be fined tuned further. Put any remaining terms that seems too broad back through the keyword tool for more related suggestions. Try and put together a list of ten, two or three word niche topics created from your original five keywords. This process can be quite exhaustive (but imagine the trials and tribulations required to find a goldmine) but it is necessary.

Now you have a number of possible AdSense niche topics. But they still need to be investigated further. You need facts and figures to make these possible AdSense goldmines more real. Further research into the competition (supply) and demand for the topics is necessary.

But this essential first stage has enabled you to find possible AdSense niches that could be AdSense goldmines for YOU. To make a success of AdSense you need to plan first before you can move forward. And finding the perfect niche for you is one of the many first steps you need to make before putting together your first AdSense website.

4 Tips for Optimising Your AdWords Campaign

{ Posted on 8:37 PM by Mack }
Buzz It

Google AdWords has proven itself to be one of the most revolutionary and important online advertising platforms. With tens of thousands of advertisers on its network, Google is a true powerhouse in both the fields of search and online advertising. What does this mean for you and your online business? Success with AdWords advertising campaigns, paired with a great combination of target keywords, can result in some massive payoffs, exposure, and rapid expansion for your business. Whether you're a small time internet marketer or a multi-millionaire internet entrepreneur, AdWords is something that can help your business achieve the next level of online success. These four tips will help you optimize and maximize your AdWords campaign:

#1 - Don't spend too much, too quickly.

AdWords is truly about testing, and without good results to back up your spending, it's silly to buy more advertising than you actually need. If a campaign isn't getting the results that you want, don't pump more money into it and expect it to. Google AdWords is different that traditional online advertising, and as a result it's best to play at the game using a different set of rules. Starting small is good; starting big can have some fatal flaws.

#2 - Micro-test each and every AdWords campaign.

This applies not only to AdWords, but to every internet marketing campaign you ever run. When you're buying advertising, the last thing you need is for it to be ineffective and a drain on your funds. When you're trialing different advertising for your online product or service, run five different ads (or even more) and pick the highest performing one. Then, run five small variations of that ad. Refine, refine, refine until you get the results that you want from your advertising.

#3 - Pick great keywords to advertise on.

OK, so "great" isn't a very technical term. It's best to pick keywords that are both highly frequent in searches, and relatively free of competition. This isn't just for cost reasons, but for exposure reasons. Pick a keyword that's ultra-competitive and you'll end up seeing your advertisement lost amongst a sea of competitors. Pick a keyword that's relatively free of competitors and your advertisement will appear on its own, freeing you of any direct competition.

#4 - Use Google AdWords for more than just advertising.

This is an advanced tip for those looking to develop their own online products, not just market previously made products. When you're in the design process of your product, business, or service, it's difficult to come up with technical terms, names, and features that will define it from the competition. Using AdWords, you can test for audience responses for various different names, feature lists, and product descriptions. Tim Ferris did this to pick a name for his bestselling book "The Four Hour Workweek" and it met with massive success. By using AdWords to research product details and brainstorm ideas, you free yourself of having to guess and end up with inaccurate product names.

PPC service is a mode to advertise your website among the online users. It stands for pay per click service. The owner of the ad pays for every click on the advertisement. Hence, it saves a lot of money and brings traffic to the website. Google Adwords and yahoo overture are certain search engines that support pay per click services. This service focuses on a particular set of keywords or keyword phrases.

Sometimes, the PPC service requires huge monetary investment. You can save your money by effectively managing your resources. Sometimes advertising agencies act lazy and fail to take advantage of this opportunity. They lose a large amount of money due to the negligence. Hence, you can save your money by refining your keywords.

You should aim at targeting the prospective buyers. Concentrate on your search keywords. You should use “exact keywords” for the PPC service. The exact keywords display search results exactly same as typed on the search bar. The order of words is also same. Hence, people searching for the required product or service can reach you easily.

You can also find companies that limit the use of keywords. Hence, if you don't have any monetary issues, then you can use multiple keywords in the ad. You can use broad matching for the purpose. Hence, whenever the user types the keyword, then the search engine displays the results irrespective of the order of the keywords. This type of PPC service requires well monetary backup.

You should keep interesting information on your pay per click advertisement. The information should compel the readers to make a purchase. Hence, you should make sure that the users reach you and go through your website. This enhances the page traffic as well as probability of successes. Advertisers can do the job themselves or appoint a qualified person for the marketing campaign.

So, utilize the opportunity and increase the number of views on your website.

How to Rank High in Search Engine Results

{ Posted on 5:42 AM by Mack }

by:Yolanda
The first place people search when looking for an answer is the Internet. “Google it” has become part of our everyday vernacular. Billions of people go online every day looking for answers to their questions.

The two main search engines are Google and Bing. (Bing is the merger of MSN and Yahoo.) Google has dominated the search business due to the algorithms they use to ensure the end user finds the answers they are looking for. Time will tell if Bing will be competitive with Google.

Ranking high in search engines is an art. Ten percent of ranking is data, but 90% is insight. The insight comes from understanding the difference between keywords and queries. Keywords are the words the end user types into the search engine. A query is the question behind the keyword, the intent behind the keyword. The query is what the end user is actually asking and looking for. Understanding the query is the first key to ranking high in the search engines.

The second thing needed to get on the first page of search is to understand what it takes to get on the first page. Generally achieving a high rank in search is based on 3 criteria: competition, relevancy, and content.

Competition is basically popularity. The more popular (talked about, linked to, and click on) your ad or offer is, the more competitive you are. Relevancy is based on how well your offer matches the keywords. Your ad should include the keyword, or be as close as possible to the keyword being searched on. Finally, your content should address the question being asked. Your goal is to answer the query as directly as possible. You want the end user to say “Yes, this is the answer I’m looking for.” If you can master these three criteria, the higher rank you can achieve in search.

The best positions (ranks) in search are those above the fold. The fold is the bottom of a web page you can see on your computer screen. Everything you can see on your computer screen without having to scroll down is “above the fold.” Everything below your screen (where you have to scroll down) is call “below the fold.”Being above the fold is your goal. Why? The most relevant ads or offers are typically above the fold. Many users want to find answers immediately; it’s human nature, and they would rather find the answer “above the fold” than have to scroll down to see if their question is answered below. This is why relevancy is so important in your ad or offer.

Mastering the art of search is not impossible. It’s just take practice and time. Take the time to think about what the end user is really asking (the query) and how your offer answers their question (relevance and content). Be persistence and consistent. Work through the learning curve and you’ll find yourself with a high rank in the search engines.

Happy Business Building,

Finding Markets Fast - Using SE Nuke to Find Keywords To Capture

Mastering Niche Market Choice With SEnuke and The Simplification Trick

Selecting your markets and keywords is the most critical success factor for what you do when undertaking an IM project. The market and keywords physically define the space you target, the prospects buying mindset, and the volume of traffic you can receive--all of which equate to how much income you can make.

Because this definition is make or break, experts often use software products to help eliminate the guessing from the workflow.

The niche research capabilities in SE Nuke makes easier the task of figuring out what market segments are hot. Then, it helps you determine if you can rank for those keywords organically.

To use it, first you go to the pulldown list and select a niche market "indicator" URL, such as Yahoo Buzz or Ebay Research. There are over 50 different URLs that show all types of products, services, and discussion topics that are marketable on the Internet, making it easy to find something you are interested in. It has a number of sites including the most popular affiliate marketing sites, so you can look at not only Amazon, Yahoo, or eBay but also sites that include CPA offers that you can promote.

Once you find a topic you're interested in, the next step is to determine a few keywords that you think will represent the traffic in that market. I use tools that are available on the Internet to generate a list of keywords from a seed keyword list that I come up with. Usually, a small list of 4 or 5 keywords will be adequate to create a list of the few hundred unique keywords. Just using Google to search for a keyword will generate a list of keywords across the bottom that are often suitable for further research as well.

When you are choosing keywords, you have to take care in selecting phrases that are focused on action--such as dealing with pain, making a choice, or purchasing a product. Keywords that have a focus on research, such as broadly generic terms, tend not to do very well at conversion. While you may want to run a campaign that targets these types of keywords, it's not usually optimal from a revenue generation perspective.

Once you have a list of keywords the next step is to determine how competitive those phrases are. I have other tools that I use that allow me to very quickly determine how competitive the search phrase is especially for Adwords or other PPC tools. But, these products generally provides information in the form of raw numbers--so you must understand the market dynamics, the statistics, and the trends to determine whether the data tells you if the market is competitive.

Se Nuke's Keyword tool, in contrast, provides a simple answer as to whether the markets are competitive. The answers range from very easy to don't waste your time and are based upon the collective experience of SEnuke users from the last year. This leading indicator helps you choose markets where you can be effective first, gaining traffic that you can use to build PageRank and grow in influence in the algorithms of the search engines.

Tools like SENuke provide powerful capabilities that help search engine optimization marketers choose the right keywords to target. Rather than providing raw data, the software provides an easy to understand "yes or no" result whether you should invest time when starting a campaign. These types of packages make analysis of keywords and markets straightforward work for an IM, and help internet marketers be more time efficient and productive.

The Legal Issues Surrounding Click Fraud

{ Posted on 10:14 PM by Mack }

Problems surrounding click fraud have been proliferating since the very beginning of pay per click advertising. Unfortunately, not every person who engages in an entrepreneur is an honest person. That is why they may take liberties with clicking on ads not to learn more about the advertiser and his product. Rather, they are clicking on their own ads with the express purpose of enriching themselves through ill-gotten clicks. Never fall into this category if you are a PPC marketer! Often, when such a profiteer is discovered through PPC tracking programs, the person pay per click account will be dissolved. As a result, they will lose any potential payments. However, this could prove to be the least of their worries as it is also possible to fall into in legal hot water for click fraud if such fraudulent business practices involve a great deal of money.

When you agree to the terms of agreement to a Pay Per Click company, you are signing a contractual agreement. Upon this agreement, you will be required to follow the established rules and conditions and avoid any barred behavior. If you do commit any fraudulent behavior, you have breached the contract and lose any claim on monetary rewards. Additionally, under certain circumstances, willful violation of the contract could also lead to criminal penalties as may be the case with blatant click fraud. And yes, ad tracking software can often expose such fraud and the results can be used as evidence against the perpetrator.

In some jurisdictions such as the state of California, committing click fraud is a felony. That means anyone who is caught pilfering money through a click fraud venture could be prosecuted and sentenced to a prison term. The duration of the sentence will vary depending upon how much money was illegally procured. However, it is safe to say the more money a fraudster appropriates illegally, the longer the prison sentence will be. Usually, the ability to succeed in a large scale click fraud case will center on using computer scripts to automatically click on ads. When ad tracker based evidence of such a venture is entered into court, juries will doubtfully look positively on such a defendant. After all, the defendant has taken many clear steps to purposely commit an act of fraud to acquire undeserved payments. As such, it is doubtful leniency will be offered.

Also, if someone has required a great deal of income through a PPC venture and it is later discovered fraud has occurred, it is possible for the PPC company to file a civil lawsuit to recoup the improper payments. However, it may be possible for the PPC company to seek punitive damages as well. This could lead to an enormous judgment against those who have committed serious volumes of monetary fraud.

Then, there is another aspect to click fraud legal issues that some may not be aware of. The advertiser can sue the PPC company to recoup the payments is made due to the result of third party click fraud. For example, in 2006, Google agreed to a lawsuit settlement of $90 million with a company called Lane’s Gifts and Collectibles. This occurred after the company proved it paid out millions of dollars to Google for ad clicks that were committed by fraudulent activity. Needless to say, companies such as Google will certainly pursue those who commit fraud aggressively because Google can find itself in legal hot water when fraud occurs.

Yes, there are those who may be able to get away with committing click fraud for the short term. However, once they are discovered, the legal issues that can derive could be significant. Hopefully, this will dissuade a large enough number or people that instances of click fraud will reduce over time.

The Mistake of Not Using The 3 Kings of Internet Marketing

{ Posted on 10:08 PM by Mack }

You want to get on Page One Google and Page One Bing and Page One Yahoo - the three major search engines at this time……and most importantly, you want to have a site that converts your visitors to customers. Right?

You have a killer website, great content and precisely targeted SEO planning with implementation (I call these the 3 Kings) But are they enough? If you do it right, the 3 Kings will include results in converting your visitors to paying customers.

Your internet marketing, like your other sources of advertising, should pay for itself, otherwise, why do it?
Now I know companies like Geico who spend over 70% of their income on ads to build a brand…….they have unlimited sources and are trying to get a name in the market, not unlike CocaCola has done. (Interesting note is that both Geico and CocaCola are owned by Warren Buffett who said of Coke's branding, "If you had a hundred million dollars to spend on ads, I don't think you could match Coke's market penetration").

We're not talking about brand building here……we're talking about being first to the market and capturing the customers! The internet is different than the outside world of interruptive marketing (radio, tv, billboards, etc.) It is a marketplace of directness, one where people are already looking for very specific information, products, and services.

Done properly, your internet marketing approach will bring your company and products to those who are already looking. Your goal is to surface among those who looking for your type of product or service!

The goal is to get your consumer to land on your page and purchase your product or service. Getting consumers to engage your website is not a liability or expense but rather a necessity regardless of the method used to drive traffic.

Getting to the top of page one Google and the other major search engines for your product entails exact strategies, SEO work and Internet Marketing that should pay for itself.

You have all the bells and whistles and the sizzle, and now, at the end of the day, it is still all about the steak and how many orders you get, how many leads were generated and how many prospects are in the pipeline.

Sometimes we forget to look at the big picture of search and fully embrace "the marketing part" of Internet marketing that is supposed to generate a return on your investment.

Increasing traffic is important but fine tuning your approach to make it about increasing the conversion rate of the traffic you receive is ultimately what it's about. Let's be realistic, SEO delivers traffic but what good is it if they bounce or never get to your ordering page?

What about targeting "your best page"? Engagement matters and the notion of "your best page" is a perspective that is unique to everybody who visits your website. But the idea is, this elusive concept and it may impede you from viewing each page as its own best landing page by infusing it with something more than just traffic and attention.

Combine that with the fact that even "that attention" will change based on the variable of the visitors original intent and mood. Are they simply there to window shop or research or is buying the intent or their visit?

With the advent of analytics our websites are like having a live litmus test running in the background around the clock. To see which pages have the highest yield of visits, traffic and engagement is no marvel. It is available to everyone.

If sales from your site is your objective, it's important that you understand that SEO is only one part of the equation. Traffic must convert or you should change the format of your value proposition and call to action so that it does.

People either approve of your content, layout and design and invest enough attention to contextually extract relevance from your web page or they don't.

Depending on how well you implement "the total package" (clear conversion objective, clear benefit to them) can illustrate and provide a solution to their problem or manage to hit an emotional or trigger.

If you make that the priority, then no amount of SEO will ever matter because each visitor that lands on each page will have a higher rate of conversion which it the basis of return on investment.

Getting to the top of page one in Google and Bing is great, but just makes sure that you have done your homework about who your audience is and what expectations they have when it comes to what they get and what you give.

At the end of the day, SEO should pay for itself. If it does not, then perhaps you should think about the most cost-effective method to sell whatever type of information, product or service you offer so that it does.

Killer web design, relevant content and properly executed SEO Strategy, all work together as a whole. Bring the 3 Kings to your internet presence and make it all work for YOU. Miss one and you miss maximizing your ROI and conversions.

Getting your website to page one in google is entirely possible and maximizing conversion is too! Hang in there! Call on the pros when you need them.

Here's to your success!
