Discovering AdSense Keyword Demand

{ Posted on 6:31 AM by Mack }
Buzz It

So you have a fantastic idea for an AdSense site but not too sure how to measure its worth. In your opinion it is a good AdSense niche topic but you want to find out how popular it really is. How do you go about researching keyword demand for AdSense topics?

Assessing keyword demand is an essential initial step in the process of planning an AdSense website. It gives you the knowledge required to optimize your website for the search engines and fine tunes your website for the keywords required to draw in the best AdSense ads. You can, if you want, forgo researching keyword demand, but you’ll inevitably have to pay the price at a later date, possibly through a potential loss of AdSense earnings.

Keyword demand tells you how popular a particular keyword is with potential visitors to your website. It gives you an indication of how many search queries were requested using specific keyword combination's and it gives you an idea of the types of words related to your chosen AdSense theme. You need this kind of information to optimize your AdSense website for ultimate success.

So how do you determine keyword demand?

The simplest way to determine keyword demand is by using a keyword discovery tool. There are many keyword discovery tools available for free on the internet, but one of the best is the one provided by Google themselves. It is very simple to access (just type in ‘Adwords keyword tool’ into Google’s search engine and click on the first organic result). Unfortunately, the tool requires that you fill in a CAPTCHA input field every time you use it but its usefulness easily overcomes this slight inconvenience.

To use the tool all you have to do is type the keyword(s) into the designated area and click on ‘Get keyword ideas’. The results are normally given as a list of related words that are displayed on the left side of the screen with the corresponding data reflecting the number of times they were used in search queries to their right.

The information given is not exact, but it is one of the best approximations regarding types and numbers of query requests in search engines.

Researching keyword demand is a useful step in investigating the value of keywords. But to find out the true value, further investigation is required into how popular the keyword is already on the web and a means of comparing keyword demand with keyword supply (or keyword competition).

The whole process can be quite exhaustive, but in the end what you get is the Keyword Potential Index (KPI) of each word under investigation, which is a simple numerical value that gives you an indication of the true potential of a particular keyword.

It is worth your while to investigate thoroughly the usefulness of your chosen AdSense themes by researching keyword demand because it is only through doing some research can you really determine if your ‘fantastic idea’ has any true AdSense earning potential.

How to find AdSense Niche Topics

{ Posted on 6:28 AM by Mack }
Buzz It
Good AdSense niche topics are like goldmines. They are often poorly covered areas of interest that has little to no competition from other publishers. They often have good levels of demand (interested visitors) and a good number of high paying related ads. Basically a good AdSense niche is one that has:

High Cost Per Click

High Traffic

Low Competition

Of course no niche topic is ideal, only rarely, do all the above factors coincide to create an AdSense niche topic. There are other more realistic combinations of factors that can make good AdSense niches for example:

Low Cost Per Click

High Traffic

Low Competition

Basically, the common factor in all possible combinations is low competition. This ensures that you control a large portion of the traffic affiliated with the topic in question.

There are a number of different ways to discover AdSense niche topics. Some people prefer to tackle it from the profit angle, focusing on finding AdSense niche topics within high paying AdSense keywords. But this technique is fraught with difficulties, not least the problem of trying to create an AdSense website on a topic you’re probably not familiar with.

A good AdSense niche topic has to be of interest to you. How can it be a ‘good’ topic if you can’t turn it into a success? The best way to find a good AdSense topic is to discover one, so at least you know it’s one that is ‘good’ for you.

To make success of an AdSense website you have to be passionate about the subject matter. So the first step towards finding one that is ideal for you, is to brainstorm and write down all the topics that interest you. In this step don’t hold back, you have to try and put down everything, no matter how silly. Write down the things that you do everyday that interests you, that could also interest someone else. Things that you like reading about, hobbies, things you do at home and possibly things you do at work. Try and write down a list of least twenty different topics.

From this list review each topic and ask yourself a number of important questions;

1. How passionate am I about this topic?
2. Would other people be interested in this topic?
3. Would this topic work well as a website or a blog?
4. Has this topic got longevity?
5. What would I need to make this topic interesting to a prospective visitor to my site and can I deliver what is required?
6. But most importantly, what topic do I have the most understanding of and the greatest interest in?

Passion, understanding and interest in the topic helps make the work flow easier for you. Building the website becomes less of a burden if you have a deep interest in the subject matter.

From the list try and whittle down your options to only 5 topics. This list is now probably comprised mostly of general website themes which are not yet specific AdSense topics. To convert these themes into possible AdSense niche topics, you need to do some basic keyword research. For this you are going to need a keyword discovery tool. One of the best is the one provided by Google in its Adwords section. It is free to use but requires constant entry of CAPTCHA text to use if you haven’t signed up for Google Adwords.

When through to the tool enter your topic into the entry field and click on ‘get keyword ideas.’ A list of related terms is then generated which could be possible AdSense niches. But some could be fined tuned further. Put any remaining terms that seems too broad back through the keyword tool for more related suggestions. Try and put together a list of ten, two or three word niche topics created from your original five keywords. This process can be quite exhaustive (but imagine the trials and tribulations required to find a goldmine) but it is necessary.

Now you have a number of possible AdSense niche topics. But they still need to be investigated further. You need facts and figures to make these possible AdSense goldmines more real. Further research into the competition (supply) and demand for the topics is necessary.

But this essential first stage has enabled you to find possible AdSense niches that could be AdSense goldmines for YOU. To make a success of AdSense you need to plan first before you can move forward. And finding the perfect niche for you is one of the many first steps you need to make before putting together your first AdSense website.

Google Adsense: How Much Money You Can Make and URL Channels Explanation

How Much Money Can I Make With Google Adsense?

How much do you want to make? How hard do you want to work? And how much time do you want to spend working the Google Adsense program?

These are the questions you must ask yourself in order to answer that question.

Look at it this way: how many business opportunities come your way where the only requirement is hard work and the time it takes to work hard? Not many. Almost any business venture requires some kind of start-up money.

If your total earnings is showing 0.00 after a week, not to worry. Keep reading and learning and working. If however, you’re still showing 0.00 after a month, it may be time to implement some of those optimization tips you’ll find on the Google Adsense Support Site. Play around with the placement of the ads on your site. Consider changing the colors. Look again at the content. Is it interesting?

As with any other business, with the Google Adsense program, the sky is the limit. Work hard. Work smart. Have fun. After all, you’re the boss.

What Are URL Channels and How to Organize Them in Google Adsense

URL Channels allow you to view detailed information about the performance of your Adsense for Content pages.

Suppose you have a blog at writingup.com and you also have a blog at bloggerparty.com. It might be interesting and profitable to track which one is getting more clicks. Log in to your Adsense account and click on Adsense for Content. Scroll down until you see Channels and click on manage channels. You may need to scroll up when the next page loads. Under Manage URL Channels you would type writingup.com and click on Create New Channel. You will immediately see writingup.com in the Active URL Channels dialogue box Now type in bloggerparty.com in the same channel text box and again click on Create New Channel. You now have two channels and you will be able to track your progress on each channel. You can view channel reports from the Advanced Report page under the Reports tab. Choose Adsense for Content, choose the date range and then select the Channels Data radio button. Choose any number of active channels by holding down the CTRL key. Next click on Display Report. It’s as easy as that.

What are the best niche topics for Adsense sites?

{ Posted on 8:42 PM by Mack }
Buzz It

by:Victor Johnson

This is a question that has been asked again and again by many upcoming publishers. But the answer to the question isn’t as simple as one might expect. Adsense niche topics are rare often difficult to find (some webmasters spend months, researching, writing content etc…). They are also very difficult to define. They are as elusive as they are precious. An Adsense niche topic can be a potential goldmine especially one that has some longevity.

Due to their precious nature people are reluctant to divulge information relating to Adsense niche topics. No one wants to add a whole armada of competitors to siphon off the small but dedicated number of visitors that use their niche Adsense site.

However, there are trends that people can use to get a measure of a potential Adsense winner. Firstly, Adsense doesn’t work well on religious, political or personal sites. There just isn’t enough advertiser competition in these areas to make it worthwhile. For instance, you can build a quality site like mydogjoe.com but you are not going to get any revenue if you are only getting two visitors and one sole advertiser. But again there are exceptions. You can alternatively decide to build a large quality niche site on Greek myths for example and become an undisputed authority on the topic. With this you can get a reasonable level of traffic going through your site. Even if the quality of advertisers are poor relating to a particular topic, you can still generate a reasonable amount of Adsense income if you have a reasonable number of visitors passing through your site.

Secondly, sites that have a commercial edge have normally worked well with Adsense. These sites can be based on themes that focus on a range of popular offline products and services such as insurance, health and high end technological products. Advertisers are normally clambering over themselves for the best Adsense publishers and they more than willing to pay that extra bit to out compete their rivals.

However, finding a true niche in this area is nearly impossible, simple because it is extremely saturated. Nearly every conceivable niche has been filled already. But you never know… the fact is that a good Adsense niche topic can be found in any field.

There is no such thing as a definitive list containing the best Adsense niche topics. And if someone claims to have one, don’t trust them. The best way to find the ideal Adsense niche topic is to discover one yourself. To do this properly you have to do some quality research which requires a lot of work and dedication. But it is well worth the sacrifice, considering the potential payoff. You can use Google’s keyword search tool (which is free if you sign up for one of Google’s services) to find out about the keywords related to some niche themes you may be interested in. Google’s keyword tools also gives you an idea of the number quality of the ads that are related to your themes of interest. You can then use the information you have gathered to isolate profitable Adsense niche topics.

If no one clicks on your PPC ads do you blame the advertising model for its failure? Sometimes advertisers make mistakes in choosing the suitable medium of advertising. But most of the PPC ad campaigns fail due to improper execution. A meticulous analysis of the campaign gives a clear insight about the possible factors that lead to failure.

Listed below are few factors which determines the course of a PPC campaign.

1.Keyword research – You may call it the stepping stone of search engine advertising and marketing. Any problem in the stepping stone would lead to a series of faltering steps ahead.
A thorough Keyword research would lead to highly relevant keywords, which would ultimately deliver traffic genuinely interested in your product.

Keyword research would be further enhanced with long tail keywords which specifies the nature of your product. A specific term such as “rainy season shoes” would bring more targeted traffic to your site than a term as general as “shoes”.

2.Keyword implementation – While implementing keyword for the PPC ads, utmost care should be taken about keyword grouping. Like words should be put in a single ad group to avoid contradiction. Ads with similar kind of keywords have a greater relevance.

3.Testing the ads – It's impossible to say which ad is impeccable. Right measures in the right time would prevent launching an ambiguous ad. In this case split-testing the copy, title, keywords and call to action separately will give a clear understanding whether each aspect is contributing efficiently to make the ad good enough to go live.

4.Effective tracking – You have to watch your steps before progressing too far with the PPC campaign. Non-performing ads should be weeded out of the campaign and more focus should be laid on keywords and ads which bring about effective results.

5.Relevant landing page – Audience must not be misled into an irrelevant landing page through ppc ads. Landing page should have a smooth and natural blend of keywords that have landed audience in the page.

If proper care is taken to avoid the deterring factors in a PPC campaign a new worry should bother you – how to manage the excessive revenue from PPC campaign.

11 Tips for Pay-per-click Success

{ Posted on 7:05 PM by Mack }

This list details some very important points to keep in mind when creating or managing any pay-per-click campaign. Is this all there is to know about pay-per-click advertising? Absolutely not, but for those new to PPC it should serve as good place to start. Additionally, pay-per-click veterans or at least the moderately-seasoned will want to touch upon these points now and then to brush up on their fundamentals.

1) Do your keyword homework - Use Google's free Keyword Tool or sign up for a WordTracker account to find out which keywords are the most competitive. The more competitive the keyword, the more expensive your clicks will be. While you're finding out which keywords are too expensive you'll come across some that aren't being targeted heavily by advertisers. Take a good look at these - they may be your keys to a successful niche campaign.

2) Don't bunch your ad groups - You should be striving to separate your ad groups by keyword. Whatever your target, separate your keyword lists into closely related groups containing the same target words and write ads geared specifically to those words. Your ads will show up higher in results based on their quality, and search terms show up bold in results - a click-through rate booster.

3) Drive home your selling point - What's your offer? Why are you better than the others? Remember that your ads are going to display with your competitors. The difference between a user clicking your ad and clicking a competitor ad is about 100 pixels on the screen - or a millisecond of time. You need to convince them that you are the one they want. You are better. Grab them.

4) Don't send users to your home page - This is perhaps one of the worst things you can do to your Pay-Per-Click campaign. Internet users are notoriously impatient. Send them to your home page when they were searching for a specific product or service and see how fast they leave. Don't waste your advertising budget - send them to optimized landing pages.

5) Optimize your landing pages - Your landing pages need to drive something home immediately for your users: "you have landed in the right place." They need to know that, yes, this is what they were looking for, here it is, here is why it is better than the rest and here's the easy thing they need to do to get it. In most cases you'll need to create multiple landing pages based on your different ad groups and keywords, but look at it this way - if your users aren't landing at pages geared exactly to their search phrases they'll leave and take your advertising budget with them.

6) Don't lie in your ads - People aren't dumb. If you promise something in your ads you had better well deliver. Otherwise you'll not only waste advertising dollars but damage your brand. Be honest, and focus on points that make you stand out from the competition. Grandiose ad text might bring in clicks, but if it isn't the truth it won't bring in conversions.

7) Your domain name counts - In most cases you can display a domain name that you own as the "display domain" but point the ads to a page on a different domain. Why does this matter? If you own a domain name that contains the keyword text it will show up bold and increase conversions. Enter the optimized domain as the displayed domain, point the ads to your landing pages and you can expect higher CTRs in most cases.

8) Utilize negative keywords - Google has a new Negative Keyword Tool that will allow you to find negative keywords that you should specify for your ads. Negative keywords are those that you don't want your ads to display for. For example, if you're selling "blue widgets" you don't want to display your ads to those users searching for "free blue widgets." If you don't use negative keywords you are missing out on a chance to get more targeted traffic to your landing pages, and this can really hurt your conversion rates.

9) Test, test, and test some more - The greatest thing about internet advertising is the ability it grants you to measure your success. It's easy to create A/B split tests with Pay-Per-Click advertising. Change one word, add a comma, include a value proposition. . .just make sure you only change one thing for each split or you won't know which variable it was that made the difference! You'll find out right away that this is a great way to optimize your click-through rates - just don't forget that clicks aren't everything!

10) Don't focus too heavily on CTRs - Getting tons of clicks isn't always the name of the game. In fact, if you aren't using proper techniques to ensure that you're getting targeted traffic and sending it to well-optimized landing pages you can blow through your advertising budget in no time flat. Remember that the success of any advertisement is getting back more than you put in. It's an investment, not a cost - so do all that you can to better your rate of return!

11) Don't pigeonhole yourself - We all know that Google AdWords is the most popular Pay-Per-Click service out there. Your competitors know it, your users know it - even your grandma might know it. It would be foolish to ignore Google as a venue for advertising, but don't forget that there are other search engines out there who offer similar services. Yahoo!'s new Panama search system is catching on, and Microsoft's adCenter is nothing to sneeze at either. Both companies are currently offering sweet promotional deals to new Pay-Per-Click advertisers to stay competitive so take advantage and diversify!

Pay Per Click Optimization Software

{ Posted on 9:53 PM by Mack }

by: Stephen Carter

If you have heard that the key to pay per click optimization is software that tracks your conversions and reports back on what is working and what is not, then you are a step ahead of the hundreds of thousands of pay per click marketers who are wondering why they are having such trouble making their campaigns profitable.

In order to perform conversion tracking you generally have to attach a tracking ID to your advert destination URLs, and then ensure that the tracking ID is passed all the way through to the merchant Thank You page shown when a prospect finally makes a purchase and earns you some money.

Because merchants have an easier time of implementing conversion tracking (as they have access to their own merchant sales and Thank You pages, which affiliates do not), I am going to talk about the options for affiliates who need to use some kind of PPC tracking software to optimize their pay per click campaigns.

Most of the advice that I have read on the subject of conversion tracking tells you how to add tracking IDs to the keyword-level destination URLs that you specify when you set up your ad campaigns using a pay per click service like Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, or Microsoft AdCenter. However, this is not the only option available to you.

Another way to track your adverts is to apply tracking URLs on the fly. This can only be done with the use of tracking software, and is the method used by Jeremy Palmer's Optimize My Site conversion tracking software. Jeremy is a super affiliate who spends hundreds of thousands of dollars every year on his pay per click marketing.

It was precisely because he was spending a fortune on PPC traffic brokering that he needed a way to figure out how to optimize his campaigns. Most of his money was going down the drain because he could not tell which of his campaigns were making sales, and which were not. Today he has a very accurate picture of what is going on with his PPC accounts. In fact, his Optimize My Site software provides a kind of x-ray vision that allows him to easily tweak his campaigns for maximum profitability.

The way Jeremy's software works is that it allows one to import existing ad campaigns into the Optimize My Site database, and then rewrite the destination URLs in a form that redirects the visitor momentarily (after they have clicked on an advert) through a tracking script that generates a tracking ID unique to the visitor. This is then sent on to the affiliate network when the visitor heads off to the merchant site and makes a purchase.

Well, that's how it works in a nutshell. If you want to find out how Optimize My Site works in more detail, you can read my in-depth review of the software on my Optimize My Site Review page. There you will discover why I used the term "flash of genius" to describe Jeremy's implementation of the ad conversion tracking, and you will see why this pay per click optimization software has earned high marks from those who have used it.

Pay Per Click Bid Management Strategies

{ Posted on 9:50 PM by Mack }

by:Stephen Carter

Managing your pay per click keyword bid values can be a time-consuming and tedious task. It can also be incredibly stressful. For the few among us who can afford to pay others for their services, having someone else manage the job is an option. For the remainder of us, some other bid management strategy is called for. Usually one involving software.

Fortunately, the most important part of the bid management process involves looking at campaign performance, and this IS something that can be determined by applying suitable software to the ad campaign while it is running. Of course, what I am talking about is conversion tracking software. This is software that tracks every click taken by a prospect as they follow one of your pay per click ads all the way through to the merchant Thank You page which is shown after a successful sale.

Most pay per click marketers are not the merchants themselves, but affiliates
of the merchant who earn a commission with every sale. Because of this I am going to assume that you are an affiliate looking to optimize the bids on your campaigns for maximum profitability. In particular, you'd like to remove from your campaigns all those ads and keywords that are costing you money because they are being clicked on, but they are not making you any sales. For those keywords that remain, you would like to know whether to increase or decrease your bid values to improve your return on investment.

In order to track a prospect, you can either add tracking IDs to the destination URLs that go into your advertisements, or (less widely known) you can add tracking IDs on the fly. In the latter case each visitor gets their own unique tracking ID, and this can be used to infer a great deal of information about not only the performance of your adverts, but also the customers that ultimately bring in a commission for you.

One such piece of conversion tracking software that performs on the fly tracking ID generation is Jeremy Palmer's Optimize My Site application. Jeremy is well-known in the affiliate marketing industry as a super affiliate who spends hundreds of thousands of dollars every year on pay per click advertising. He developed his software as a personal tool to allow him to see how his ad campaigns were performing at the keyword level and beyond.

After several years of refining his conversion tracking tool he decided to release the application as an inexpensive commercial product for affiliates. Now that he has, Optimize My Site has been receiving some very good press, and customers have supported Jeremy's contention that this is the best ad tracking application on the market.

But how accurate are the claims?

Well, I decided to have a closer look at the software recently, and I have now written an in-depth review on my Optimize My Site Review page. There you will discover why I used the term "flash of genius" to describe Jeremy's implementation of the ad conversion tracking, and you will see why this pay per click optimization software has earned high marks from those who have used it.

What is Pay Per Click Advertising?

Everyone is clicking links. Whether it be link found through a search engine or a link from one website to another, people are hopping around the World Wide Web in a frenzy for information. With all this clicking going on, Internet marketers are trying to find the best way of getting users to click their links and it seems one of the best methods of doing so is via PPC or Pay Per Click Advertising.

To put it in layman's terms, Pay Per Click Advertising is a type of search marketing where advertisers pay a specified amount every time their ad or website link is clicked by a prospect. This is otherwise known as a “click thru”. The more you spend per click, the more your advertisement/link will appear on the specified site.

There are many companies and websites that cater for Pay Per Click Advertising such as Google, Yahoo!, Live, AdBrite, MSN Messenger, Overture and more. Each of them offer a straight forward means of setting up your campaign. No more expensive trips to the local Internet marketing guru! A prime example is Google AdWords. Anyone with a Google Account can login, create an ad, dump some cash into their Google AdWords Account and they're on their way. It's really as simple as that and before you know it, your site will be getting hits from visitors who are actually after what you're selling – perfect!

One thing we should note is that PPC Advertising, especially through search engines such as Google and Yahoo!, does not directly help with your search engine's ranking. Sure, your link and site popularity will increase which will have a positive impact, however it definitely isn't enough to bring your site to pole position. PPC Advertising is simply a great way of attracting the appropriate users to your site. It just isn't free.

With this in mind, Pay Per Click Advertising does work for many websites and a lot of people are doing it. What are you waiting for? Create that Google Account, set a monthly limit on how much you'd like to spend and get the ball rolling. Just remember that PPC Advertising is not the be all and end all and it definitely will not miraculously boost your search engine ranking overnight. It is just simply just another weapon in your marketing arsenal.

Comparing Adsense With Other Revenue Programs

{ Posted on 1:45 AM by Mack }

There are many programs out there that aim to give you the best advertising program for your websites. Some of the programs include Google's Adsense, Yahoo! Publisher Network, Adbrite, and Bidvertiser. These programs and companies are essentially competing for your websites and they are all aimed at giving you the most advertising that you can get. Once you get the advertising from these companies and receive traffic, these pay-per-click companies receive more revenue from the people that are targeted towards their ads. Although the basic service that these companies offer webmasters is basically the same, there are a few differences that you will notice when you begin to sign up with several of these companies.

Although Google's Adsense may be the pay-per-click program that webmasters may be most familiar with because they were one of the very first to actually advertise towards webmasters for their advertising program, the other companies continue to gain strength and are on the upswing throughout the industry. One unique issue with Google's Adsense is that before you are able to display the Adsense on your website you must fill out a detailed application. Even though more often than not the websites that apply are accepted to have Adsense displayed on their site, the application process alone might deter people from applying for Adsense. But on the other hand, Google Adsense's application process is a good way to tell if the website you are trying to generate revenue for will actually be a good candidate for their program. By looking at your webisite, Google will be able to tell if you will be able to gain a lot of traffic through it's program.

But after your website is accepted for Adsense, the rest is pretty simply. You are given a little strip of code to put on your website that will display the advertisers ads so that your traffic that you receive will be inclined to click on them and order from them.

However, Adsense will display ads on your website for almost anything that you have displayed. The Adsense program reads your websites and deciphers which ads would be best to display. One pay per click revenue program that has a different system is Adbrite. Adbrite's system is actually more targeted to those who are interested in buying products. In other words, you may be better off using Adbrite if you are selling something more than if you just wanted to present an informational website. Bidvertiser, if one is so inclined to sign up with them, will give other revenue-generating programs a run for their money! The main way that they are different from the other companies is that they give you a larger or smaller amount for each of your traffic's clicks through your website. This amount is determined by the way your website is designed. If you have a uniquely designed website then you will definitely win with Bidvertiser; however, if you have a dull website that doesn't have a lot of information, then you might be better off not using Bidvertiser!

The Yahoo! Publisher Network is a different pay per click program altogether! This program would probably be the best for beginners in the pay per click and advertising revenue industry if they no nothing more than what these companies will do for you. The reason that YPN is suggested for beginners is because that it will allow you to create a free website from Yahoo's system if you do not have one. So you can build your website, have it hosted by Yahoo!, and receive their advertising program on the same network! For beginners, this takes a lot of the confusion out of the mix of where to host, what your domain name should be, and what they should have on their website. Yahoo's system gives you everything all in one for the beginner webmaster!

All of these companies, however, are designed to generate revenue for you while making your website stand out and quietly run in the background. Signing up with more than one of these pay per click programs is actually a good technique to use because you are receiving revenue from more than one source! But carefully examining the single best revenue-generating company to stick with is of utmost importance, whether it be Google's Adsense, YPN, Bidvertiser, or Adbrite!

Actually there are a lot of increasingly creative ways to make money and maximize on Adsense earnings that are being discovered and also being put to use every day. And what’s even more fascinating is the fact that most of these tools being used don’t cost anything. They are actually free.

Here are 7 of the most effective currently being used.

1. Ways to make money from Adsense by Distributing articles through ezine and article announcement lists

Some of the most effective methods ways to make money from Adsense clicks involve the simple step of just increasing the volume of targeted traffic to a site. One of the ways of doing this is by distributing interesting content to ezine lists and article announcement lists. It is not too difficult to quickly build a list that reaches a million or so email boxes and can thus give a lot of visibility and drive tons of highly targetd traffic to your Adsense site or sites. Probably the most popular place for doing this is at Yahoo groups, but there are a few others that you can find easily by using your favorite search engine.

Success here depends on three main factors. Firstly you should be careful to join article announcement lists and ezine lists that are as relevant as possible to your subject matter and offering. Secondly your headline has to be a killer headline that will grab readers by the scruffs of their necks and force them to open your email message amongst the dozens or even hundreds of others they receive daily. It goes without saying that the content must meet the promise of your sensational headline.

Anything less will cause annoyance and leave all those potential visitors to your Adsense site feeling cheated. And believe me, you don’t want to cause this sort of reaction because it is definitely not one of the ways o make money from Adsense or any other program for that matter. Thirdly, you will need the sort of resource box in all your articles that will leave most of your readers with no option but to visit your Adsense site.

Within a very short of consistently applying this technique, my daily Adsense earnings increased seven-fold.

2. Ways to make money from Adsense by Distributing free articles to high traffic article sites

Some people find the recent trends that have seen an increase in article sites surprising. I don’t. The net is primarily an information-seeking tool. Anything that will help improve the search and quality of information will greatly benefit the people making that effort.

Some of the older article directories receive very high traffic, mainly from web masters and site owners seeking quality free content for their sites. So apart from the immediate exposure these sites also guarantee plenty of future targeted traffic to your site, when folks find your articles useful enough to re-post at their sites.

The more new articles you release to these sites every week, the more targeted traffic your Adsense sites will receive. This is in fact one of the most effective ways of making money consistently from Adsense clicks. One of the reasons for this is that targeted traffic will tend to spend more time at your site or sites, and the more time they spend, the higher the chances that they will click one one of the Adsense ads posted there.

3. Ways to make money from Adsense by Using Articles And A Viral Marketing Website

Any online marketing technique that involves the use of referral marketing or viral marketing automatically has a huge chance of being a success. The net is ideal for viral marketing and in fact gives any viral marketer huge leverage. Viral marketing or referral marketing is one of the most effective ways to make money online. Just ask Bill Gates.

When Gates was trying to play catch up on the Internet after an earlier mistake of underestimating the future importance of the net, he launched his Hotmail free email service when rivals like Yahoo already had millions of users. He decided to use a simple referral marketing technique.

Every Hotmail message that went out had a brief signature at the end requesting the recipient to sign up for their free Hotmail account. Within a few short months, Hotmail had millions of users. And there are many other amazing stories which viral marketing boasts of on the net.

There is one of the very simple ways to make money from Adsense by going viral. Sign up at a leading viral marketing site. You will automatically get your own viral site. You can then use some of your articles to point people to your viral site. The way these sites work is that anybody who signs up at your site will have to visit your Adsense site if you register it at the site. So within a very short time you will be driving thousands of visitors to your Adsense site.

Find more details on this at my blog whose address you'll find in the resource box below.

Admittedly this traffic is less targeted. Still the huge potential and possible numbers you are able to receive using this free tool more than makes up for this.

4. Ways to make money from Adsense With Your Email signature

People greatly underestimate the power and potential effectiveness of a simple email signature as one of the ways to make money online. Actually this is a viral marketing method because emails get forwarded all the time and are even copied to several other people sometimes.

Do not waste another minute. Go to all your email accounts right now and create a signature that points to your Adsense site or sites.

Writing effective email signatures is a skill that you will have to develop, but I have found that using famous quotes is more effective than a straight advertising message. Always remember that people hate to be advertised to online.

5. Ways to make money from Adsense By Asking Questions At Discussion groups

I recently had an interesting conversation with a young Internet and computer techie. He asked me whether there were quick ways to make money online by answering technical questions and helping people to solve their computer and web-related problems. My answer was that there were many discussion groups where participants would get these answers for free. I advised him that he had a better chance of making money by making use of this free advice available online rather than by trying to sell his own advice.

There are tons of online discussion groups where leading world experts will answer your questions and give you valuable insight for free. It is amazing why most people do not think of using these online forums to learn as much as they can about the most effective ways of making money from Adsense.

These forums can easily be found through you favorite search engine.

6. Ways to make money from Adsense By Bartering your online skills for valuable Adsense keywords

In the old days, before the invention of money, if somebody needed something, the first question they asked themselves was; “What is it that I already have that I can exchange for what I need? Barter trade seems to have been forgotten but it is a very powerful method of trading. More so online where people have plenty of skills but are slow to trust others enough to send them money for an item they need.

You can barter whatever it is you have, your skills, products or services, and exchange them for genuine valuable Adsense keywords. Valuable Adsense keywords are the most effective way for a small site with low traffic to earn big cash from Adsense. And you can do this barter trade on an ongoing basis so that you always have a constant supply of valuable Adsense keywords which you can use at your site or blog as one of the ways to make more money from Adsense.

7. Ways to make money from Adsense By Sending Teaser Emails

To Everybody In Your Inbox And Also To Your Opt-in Email List Most of us receive tons of email in our inbox every day. You’ll be surprised at the huge number of people you know by simply going through your email inbox. No matter how good your spam filters are, you are also bound to be receiving more than your fare share of SPAM or unsolicited email.

All this is “gold” lying in your email inbox and there are ways to make money using these emails. All you need to do to process the emails into pure gold is to send out “teaser emails about the most interesting aspects of content at your site. The whole objective of teaser emails is to get people to visit your site. For instance if I were to send out teaser email on this content here is how I would construct it;

3 Ways You Can Generate Cash Using Google Adsense

In many webmaster forums, you are likely to come across this question: "How can I make money with Google Adsense?" Google Adsense is arguably the most popular pay-per-click advertising program today. Many webmasters are earning considerable money by displaying Google Adsense on their sites.

Yes, it is very possible to make money with Google Adsense. There are several effective and proven ways you can do this. The best part is that they are not complicated ways; they are in fact very simple and easy to implement. Of course, exactly how much you make from Google Adsense largely depends on how much effort you put into your sites. Don't fall into believing that you can make money from Google Adsense overnight. Like other types of work, you need to spend time as well as have the commitment and perseverance.

With all that said, you will learn three effective ways you can generate cash with Google Adsense -- through niche sites, forums and blogs.

Niche Sites: Targeted Market Equals Targeted and Higher Adsense Clicks

The word "niche" is today's buzz word. A niche is a specific market you want to focus on. If you are in the antique business, exactly what kind of antique do you deal with? Are you in the antique furniture business? antique dolls? antique cars? That's your niche.

Niche websites are sites that are focused on very specific markets or audience. Instead of a broad category, you narrow down into a target market or audience. For instance, a guitar website can be further made specific and focus on Fender Stratocaster guitars. People who are into Fender Stratocaster guitars are your target audience. Google Adsense ads that appear on this particular niche website appeal to your target audience and visitors. By being specific, you can generate higher clicks to your Google Adsense, which translate to higher Google Adsense earnings.

If you want to maximize your Google Adsense earnings, put up several niche websites instead of one website devoted to a broad category or topic. Instead of putting up a website about cars, put up several small websites focused on car repairs, care restoration, antique cars and such. By narrowing down your website's focus, you can attract targeted visitors who are likely to click on your Google Adsense ads.

Forums: Placing Google Adsense Ads that Stand Out

Do you run a highly active forum or online discussion board? If your forum receives a lot of traffic and has many members who regularly participate in online discussions, you can monetize your forum pages by inserting Google Adsense in them. While forum users are known to be "ad blind", you can insert Google Adsense codes smartly.

For instance, you can make your Google Adsense ads stand out by using very bright colors. On niche sites, it is recommended that your Google Adsense ads blend in with the site. In online forums, however, you can make money with Google Adsense by making the ads stand out. You can also make Google Adsense appear after a certain number of posts. Many forum owners have discovered that Google Adsense ads placed at the bottom of the last post on every page generates a lot of clicks.

Blogs: Easy to Monetize with Google Adsense

Today, many are able to establish an online presence and have their voices heard. They do this by creating and maintaining their own blogs. In the last two years alone, literally hundreds of thousands of blogs have cropped up. Blog software like Wordpress and blog networks like Blogger

Since Blogger is owned by Google, people with blogs on Blogger can easily integrate Google Adsense into their account. Even if you don't have an account with Blogger, you can still make money displaying Google Adsense ads on Wordpress-powered blogs hosted on your server or third-party host. Blog software like Wordpress have Google Adsense plugins. This means you can easily insert Google Adsense ad codes in your blog posts with just a click of a button.

To make the most out of your Google Adsense ads, it is recommended that you place a Google Adsense unit after each of your blog posts. If you are posting a long article, consider placing a Google Adsense unite in the middle of the article. And if you technically inclined (or you aren't afraid of a challenge), you can insert Google Adsense codes into your blog template. Do it this way and your Google Adsense ads will display on all your blog pages.

There you have it -- three ways you can generate cash from Google Adsense. Niche sites, forums and blogs are only three of the many ways you can make money from Google Adsense. If you are new online, start with a blog. Create an account on Blogger.com and test out the waters. As you become comfortable and acquire more technical skills, you can advance to creating niche sites and starting your own online forums and monetizing with Google Adsense.
make it easy for anyone, even the least techie, to set up his or her own blog and make money from it. There are bloggers who are reportedly making four-, five- and six-figure yearly income just by placing Google Adsense on their blogs.

Adsense Strategies -- Earn Nothing with Adsense unless you have Adsense Strategies
By David Lobel

Adsense strategies are the beginning and the end of making money with Adsense.

Think about this for a minute. You sign up for Adsense. You place some ads on your site, and then you wait. Now the theory is, of course, that as long as you have visitors to your website, you will have click-thrus and make money, right? This is what I call:

Adsense Strategy Fallacy Number 1:

Adsense is not an automatic money machine. Adsense ads are like any other ads -- you have to have an Adsense strategy if you want people to look at your ad. Think of it this way -- do you look at box ads in newspapers or magazines, or do you gloss over them? I skip over them. Google Adsense ads are no different. That's why, in order to stop visitors doing this, you need Adsense strategies.

How do you do this? First, make sure that your Adsense ad doesn't look like an ad. Make sure the background is set to the same as the site's background. Do not include borders. Make sure the text is the same colour as the site text around it, and make sure the links that you want people to click on are the normal blue color we all expect all links to be. This is an important, important Adsense strategy.

Even if you do this, there is no guarantee of making a lot of money with your Adsense strategies, unless you remember the following -- people go to websites for information.

Adsense Strategy Fallacy Number 2:

Adsense strategies that forget that the Internet is the Information Superhighway will never succeed. If your website is not interesting, if people cannot find out a lot about the thing they are interested in, and if the Adsense ads do not reflect the content, then people will not click thru, and you are left with a sub-par moneymaking Adsense strategy.

Make sure your site has content; relevant, interesting, original content. Why? Firstly, because this is the only way of having a chance of being noticed by the search engines. Second, because this increases the chance that other site-owners will link to you -- more inbound links equal more traffic, which should help click-thru rates. And finally, content means having keyword density for the keywords your site focuses on (the topics it deals with), increasing the chance that your Adsense ads reflect this. Remember, you are supposed to be offering something of value -- if the promise of something valuable being offered to the readers is not reflected in the Adsense ads themselves, they will not click on them.

There are many other strategies that will help you get more traffic, more quality, targeted visitors, and more clickthru on your Adsense ads, as long as you have some good Adsense strategies.

Remember, when it comes to Adsense, the Adsense ads themselves are useless -- what you need for success are some sound Adsense strategies.

Every Adsense publisher can significantly increase their Adsense earnings by choosing the best Adsense keyword and the top paying Adsense keyword. This article will discuss how to increase your adsense earnings by at least 200 percent by using the best Adsense keyword.
The Google Adsense program has become a favorite of many internet marketers in increasing their online income. One of the keys to increasing your Adsense income is by increasing the amount of traffic to your website. Another easy method for increasing your Adsense earnings is by placing the best Adsense top paying keyword on all your Adsense websites and web pages. As well as finding the best Adsense top paying keyword, the secret is making sure your website is relevant to your chosen best Adsense keyword. Make sure your main keyword is in your h1 header tags, in the title of your web page, in your web page description and also in your meta keywords.
Make sure your best top paying Adsense keyword is in your heading, and preferably the first words used. Make sure your best top paying Adsense keyword features prominently in the first paragraph of your web content, but make sure that the website copy makes sense. If you have any images on your phrase use the alternate text image description as another place to put your best high paying Adsense keyword, however describe the image, don't just place the keyword in it. If you are an Adsense publisher then it's absolutely critical that you focus on finding the best top paying Adsense keyword for every page of your websites. The reason for this is pretty clear.
One keyword may be worth $17.00, a very similar keyword may be worth $2.20. You of course won't get the full $17.00 every time a visitor to your website clicks on your Adsense ads. You and the Google Adsense program will share this revenue. When you know what your potential site visitors are looking for and have optimized your Adsense web pages for the best top paying Adsense keyword, the more visitors to your website the more clicks you should receive. Another factor to bear in mind is that the older your website is, the better Google Adsense ads will appear on your site.
Your Google Page Rank will also have an effect on this, as will your website traffic. Also don't just focus your entire website on your best top paying Adsense keyword. There is a lot of competition for certain Adsense keywords. As well as finding the best Adsense top paying keyword, the secret is making sure your website is relevant to your chosen best Adsense keyword.
Make sure your main keyword is in your h1 header tags, in the title of your web page, in your web page description and also in your meta keywords. By using certain Adsense keyword tools you can find more long tail keywords with very little competition at all which, when you add them up with other long tail keywords, will add up to a lot of traffic and more Adsense earnings.
This article has discussed the difference between ordinary keywords and having your site optimized with best top paying Adsense keywords. Now that you know how to do that you must find the right tools to optimize your sites for the highest paying Adsense keywords.

The Full Adsense Formula

Adsense is the best income generating program ever spawned! Why?

There is no product or service to promote. Only your domain. Webspace, an Adsense account, and highly targeted traffic is needed. Your success with adsense, you will soon learn, is as easy as driving s car or cooking a four course meal. The reality is Adsense Success and everything else has to be learned. When you learned how to drive a car it became simple and after a couple of months of driving everyday or so. It became second nature. Once you learn the Adsense formula and it's variables. The sky's the limit with Google Adsense

Learn The Adsense Craft.

You can't cheat your way to success or for some a healthy adsense income. Just like anything other skill in life, it has to be learned. Everything that everyone knows was learned from a teacher(I.E. Anyone), a book, an article(I.E. Newspapers, Magazines, and the Internet), or by word of mouth. You have to learn the adsense formula and all the adsense variables. I have a A.A.S in Computer Programming and Engineering. So believe me I know how to give low-level instructions. No one can tell YOU how to make YOUR site a success, only guide you in the right direction.

The Adsense Variables

TT(High CTR) + Content = Adsense Earnings

Content - try to have a 1000 words of keyphrase-rich content. High CTR - highly optimized placement of the adsense code. TT - Highly Targeted Traffic

Yes that's it. The "Adsense Formula" is just a basic math problem and as we all know any on can learn math. We're not near finished. These variables the make up the Adsense Formula is the key to your success. Why refer to them as variables, because these Adsense elements constantly change and YOU are in full control of them. Imagine a indoor plant and its variables. Sunlight, Soil PH, CO2, Fertilizer, and Water. You control every variable and if each one is highly optimized then you will have a healthy fast-growing plant. If you highly optimize each adsense variable then you will in turn receive a healthy fast growing adsense income. Now that we have an understanding let's evaluate this "Adsense Formula."

Adsense Content

Keywords are a bad idea! High paying or not. In fact don't choose high paying keywords, not because of the saturation of SEO experts, but because keywords are to broad. Adwords is ying and Adsense is yang. Broad keywords have low payouts and ctr. You want to target keyphrases, so your site only displays high paying adsense ads, not .15 adsense ads from some beginner with one of your terms in their adwords campaign. There is a lot of free content online, but it is best to use unique content for search engine purposes. To accomplish this hire a writer or choose niche subjects that you are familiar with, so that you can write your own articles and e-books. Don't base your site on money rather than your passion. Example. My passion is computers and networking.

Adsense CTR

Optimal adsense ad placement is the heart of high adsense ctr. There are four locations on a webpage the receives the most clicks.

  1. Just above the fold. The fold is the end of the section of the page you can view without scrolling.

  2. All along side the left column.

  3. In your content, if very interesting and informative.

  4. At the end of your content after a reader finishes.

Adsense ad format effects ctr greatly whether or not they are placed in the right spots. Squares receive the most clicks, beginning with the largest and so on. The ads should blend with your page. Only the link title should be a different color than the text and url. No borders unless red or yellow. They attract viewer's eyes. The link color should match your site's links, but blue and red work the best. Incredibly Increase your adsense ctr up to 400% by placing related images above or to the left of adsense ads.

Highly Targeted Traffic

Yes, there is a difference between targeted traffic and highly targeted traffic. Someone looking for an online business would be targeted traffic to this article, but someone looking for an adsense business would be a highly targeted visitor. Why high quality traffic? Your Ctr will be amazing and unbelievable because all of your traffic will be looking for YOUR site. Don't be surprised if you have certain days where 97% of your visitors clicked an adsense ad. How? Blogs, Articles, E-books, Rss Feeds, and most SERP(search engine results page) traffic. Never use traffic exchanges or links from other sites unless their content is similar to yours.

You need an Adsense website now! Google's Adsense program is the most well-known Internet Marketing program today. There are many ebooks and internet marketers out there with an Adsense website , but there are also lots of scams; people who claim to know how to make money using Google Adsense, but who never provide any proof. Some Internet Marketers do make lots of money using with their adsense websites. The Majority of these are Entrepreneurs who run their own businesses from home.

Below are the main points to know about Google Adsense.

What Google Adsense is:

  • An advertising program that can make money for you thorough advertising on your adsense website.
  • Text ads are placed on your adsense website using a code supplied to you by Google.
  • You receive payment by Google every time someone clicks on one of the ads on your site.

Google also has a feature allowing you to put a Google search box on your adsense website. When someone uses this box to search the web, ads are also displayed on the search results pages. Google will pay you for clicks on these ads as well.

How To Get Started With Google Adsense

Google has to accept you into the Google Adsense program. You apply by completing an application at this website: https://www.google.com/adsense. If Google approves your application, the Google Adsense Program will send you an HTML code. You will need to copy and paste this code into your adsense website pages - it is this code that places the ads onto your website. It costs you nothing to join.

Can I participate in Google's Adsense Program?

Google's Adsense Program is open to anyone with a web presence, with the following exceptions:

  • Hate Sites
  • Adult Sites (porn)

You must also read and agree to follow Google Adsense terms of service. If you violate any of the rules, you can be kicked out of the program. Because the Adsense program is so large and far-reaching, you don't want this to happen, particularly if you have more than one website with Adsense ads displayed on them. Google's Adsense program is available worldwide, in all languages. This makes it possible for Internet Entrepreneurs from all over the globe to participate.

Should I participate in the Adsense Program?

You should participate if for no other reason than it is free. However, there are other, better reasons to consider joining the program and developing an adsense website:

  • You can make money online at home
  • The program is virtually maintenance-free, once you install the HTML code onto your adsense website pages.
  • You get paid when your Adsense account reaches $100
  • You can monitor your Google Adsense account on the Internet at any time

The one caveat to remember is that the possibility exists that Adsense ads could take business away from you site. This is why you have to place the Adsense code strategically on your site.

Adsense Ad Placement

There are several locations on your adsense website that have been proven, over time, to lead to more clicks (and we know that more clicks=$$$!). Below is tried and true advice on where to place Adsense Ads on your site:

  • Place them near the upper left of the page. This location is where your visitors look first.
  • Place Adsense ads near useful content, since your visitors will probably be reading there
  • Integrate Adsense ads into the middle of content on your adsense website.

Also, you should make sure that the Adsense ads don't stand out in any way, shape or form. The ads should blend in to your adsense website as much as possible.

There are other techniques for implementing the Google Adsense program on your website to ensure maximum income. These are advanced techniques and should be considered once you have a grasp on the basics and have started making money using the program. In a nutshell, Google's Adsense Program can earn you a substantial income when used properly.

Right: Adsense. You don't have to deal with customers. Do you know why a lot of people are hesitant to start an online business? Yes, because they fear to handle customers complaints and refunds etc. What do you think is the second big hurdle people are having problems with making money online.

They think they need to sell and are not sure where to get inventory from. Guess what, with Adsense you don't need to worry about inventory, storage, delivery etc. In simple words: Your write - You upload - You Earn ! You can simply start a blog, for example Blogger.com or Wordpress.com offer easy to use blogs. You can then start writing and adding content regularly. By doing this you will earn money from your Adsense ads you have incorporated into your site. Or you could start a directory, article or a big portal website. People add THEIR content to YOUR site and you are in business. But be aware that setting up those big directories is time intensive and costly. An alternative could be to purchase some Adsene-Ready Turnkey websites. If I look for a specific article I want to read and I search Google, do you think this article comes up only once? No way. For example: Some time ago I have written an article and submitted to huge number of article directories. If the myth of duplicate content would hold true I would only find my article on one site or directory. But this article has been distributed through more than 7,000 different sites all over the internet. So, does Google still index 'duplicate content'. Sure Google does it - Big times. If Google would not index any duplicate content sites, thousands of article directories would be immediately out of business. And look at the trend !

Every day new article submission sites are born and all what they do is to show duplicate content. And do you think they earn with Adsense? You bet they are, otherwise they wouldn't have started this business in the first place. So, if you use a combination of Ready-to-go Adsense Turnkey sites and an article directory, you simply can't fail earning money with Adsense.

Use Colored Links With Adsense

Consider the option of color-links in AdSense units to increase click-through ratio (CTR). There are some cases in which non-blue links will dramatically boost your earnings.

In a previous tip, we discussed a secret strategy to increase CTR with shades of blue links. While blue links work very well for many AdSense websites, different colors can work even better in some cases.

First and most obvious would be to match a theme. You’re always hearing how you need to blend your AdSense ads in with your website. Well there are some websites that don’t use blue links at all! For example, some websites use gray text with light green links. Some use orange links and etc. The point is, if the rest of the links on your website aren’t blue, don’t use blue for your ad units.

But let’s say you do use blue links for the majority of your ads. Then this is a more advance AdSense strategy for you. Try changing the color of your AdSense links to match a header color. As long as an ad is close to a big element with a non-blue color, you can change AdSense to match that color.

This creates a powerful connection for the user between the header and the ad. For example, if your title says “Secrets of X Widget” in orange, and after a line or two of text there is an ad with orange links, people can’t help but link the two together.

Take a risk and try to match colors in your AdSense website.
